Hey Guys,

Long time no post. I met up with long time RD.COM member Marshall Digmon in Memphis last week.
So when you're in Memphis, a MUST SEE is the world famous Memphis Drum Shop. Nice to finally
meet Marshall. Next time we'll get together and drum!

I'd like to be a part of that too-all the Alabama boys together! By the way, check out my new avatar, since both of you own/owned a drum like that. Antonio Brown had to go, since he's no longer a Steeler.

Okay Keith, You're freakin' me out with that avatar. Got to get rid of Ringo. You've inspired me!!
And by the way, I miss that drum. Would love to get the Yamaha version with chrome rims.

Also, let me post a few pics from the Memphis Drum Shop.

Unrelated commentary:

Yesterday I went and spent a few hours with the Point University drum line and indoor winds as they performed a "send away" performance
for family and friends. Traveling to World Championships in Dayton, Ohio next Tuesday. Good to see the youngsters getting a chance to compete
in that arena.

Image The snare drum vault- one wall- THERE ARE FOUR WALLS FULL OF SNARE DRUMS!!!!
Image The cymbal vault
Image NOT Ringo's drum kit- a replica
Image Not sure about this one. Didn't ask. Probably happened at rush hour in Memphis if I had to guess. Ha!
Image Second room after you enter the shop.
Image And what drum shop would be complete w/o a picture of the man himself?

I'll have to visit there one day. Looks like a lot of great history. If you do change your avatar, I'll miss Ringo but he must be tired

Here's great deal on one, although not chrome rims and it wasn't originally one but was cut down to be that type of drum.
