I "talked" to Rich (one of my old teachers) through email after sending him this link. Rich marched for Les Parks for six years, three with Garfield, and three with the Caballeros. He took private lessons from Les Parks for one year in the house where this video was recorded.

Rich, said that Parks was an incredible player, not just rudimental, said he was a very versatile drummer.
