Hey Guys,

I just got the word from Row-loff about two of my solos making the Texas UIL list for
solo & ensemble. The UIl list is the required music list in the state of Texas for school musicians.
Anyone out there in Texas who teaches high school drummers can check them out at Row-loff
Publications for a sample page. Both are two page solos and playable by the intermediate to
advanced student. (depending on their background of course) Both are Grade IV.

Good to hear!

I had some solos on that list back in the late 90's. The Texas UIL list is used by other states, like Oklahoma and Kansas. Even though my solos haven't been on the list since around 2000, I got an order for one of them 2 years ago from a woman in Kansas for her daughter to play at some solo & ensemble contest.

Congratulations, Dennis! I hope you get a decent increase of sales as a result. I'll check them out. I'm always looking for new solo material for my students.

Can someone translate for me the 2-3 words of goodbye part, between "Thank you very much" and "all these great drummers here." ?
