New DVD on history of rudimental drumming is on the way, by Larry McCormick. Might be a nice library addition to all rudimental enthusiasts. Go to http://www.drumminghistory.com/ for more info.

I always thought it ironic that Larry was demonstrating the "Earl Sturze" and subsequently the "Cavalier" style of drumming in that video (high stick heights and arm movements) using Santa Clara Vanguard in the background - who played NOTHING like that method! :P

haha, yeah, makes you think McCormick if anything is definitely a person who takes advantage of a given situation.
